Friendship, Cliques, and Love.
In a little messed up town called Tree Hill in North
Carolina there are the most interesting and complicated teenagers. Those
teenagers then grew throughout the seasons to become amazing young adults. We start with the popular girls. The two
girls that every girl in high school wanted to be and every guy wanted to be
with are Payton Sawyer and Brooke Davis. These two have been through thick and
thin and have an inseparable bond that they can get through anything together.
Then there is the head jock named Nathan Scott who is a jerk. The most
important of the bunch is Lucas Scott. Yes, Nate and Luke have the same last
name. Dan Scott, the villain, is their evil father. Lucas was never a popular
kid at Tree Hill and had his close friend Haley James and his friends at the
river court. The interesting part in all of this is how things can change in a
matter of a blink of an eye. Hayley turned Nathan into an amazing husband
before she left him to be a famous singer on tour. The sex appealing Brooke
Davis who was the head of the cheerleading team became the student body president.
Lucas shared the spot light with Nate on the basketball team and everyone’s
cliques intertwined and new relationships began.
Everyone
falls in love with Lucas. So I must admit I am biased when it comes to favoring
Brooke Davis. Through all of her sarcasm and bitchiness I could always see her
huge heart and her amazing work ethic. Brooke, Lucas, and Payton all became the
best of friends. These friends just get a little too cozy if you catch my
drift. A love triangle started to commence and I honestly started to hate
Payton for it. Brooke and Lucas became official and Brooke trusted her best
friend alone with her boyfriend all of the time. Payton became a home wrecker
officially, twice. Brooke gave Lucas a second chance once and Payton as well
and they ended up together yet again. Some would see this as fate and the
couple that had that romantic interest that was meant to be. I saw this a Payton
is a selfish friend and plays the damsel in distress way too often.
The Nathan
and Hayley chapter begins. So it all started with Nathan tricking Hayley into
tutoring him and then a new love started to bloom. I knew right from the start
the nerd and the jock were destined to work because opposites attract. She was
the only person who could change him for the better and bring him to show he
has a heart unlike his awful father. They loved each other so much that even
though they were in high school they got married. This marriage was seen as a
mistake and a joke but the joke was on everyone else because their love can
strive through the hardest of times.
I
personally loved the high school seasons because it brought me back to those
days. The days of the catfights and the heartache and those high school
hallways that will never be forgotten. One Tree Hill is definitely comparable
to a soap opera. Of course the show is over the top and ridiculous at times but
it is so unbelievably entertaining. Re-watching this show on Netflix is amazing
because honestly I have no idea how I would wait each week for one episode! I
fell in love with these characters and can relate a little to each one. This
show makes me emotionally attached and almost acts as my therapy. When I am
having a bad day this show can just get me out of my head. This show brings you
to another life and gets you excited for their happiness and upset for their
struggles. One Tree Hill is an amazing show and I will be discussing different
topics each week that interest me. I started with some background information
and how I feel about it but from now on I will choose important things that pop
out at me as I watch. So for now goodnight little Ravens.
